Belgravia Leisure is seeking a passionate Group Fitness Instructor to teach AQUA at the Gympie Aquatic Recreation Centre. The role welcomes experience and requires industry-standard qualifications. You’ll offer a range of classes and help improve members’ health and wellbeing.

Join a community-focused team in Queensland, with opportunities to develop skills across Aqua, Boot Camp, Zumba and more, while maintaining a friendly, client-centered approach.

Competenze

• Certified fitness professional with customer service focus.
• Valid certs: Aqua Aerobics, Deep Water Running, Yoga, Pilates, Boxing, Barre, Cycle, Circuit, Les Mills.
• Registration with Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia.
• Senior First Aid and CPR must be current.
• Working with Children Check and police check required.
• Willingness to work mornings, evenings and weekends.

The Role

We are looking for amazing group fitness instructors to teach AQUA at our Centre.

Experience desired, qualification needs to meet industry standards.

We also have Boot Camp, Les Mills BODYPUMP, Boxercise, Deep Water Aerobics, Fast Track, Gentle Circuit, Hydrotherapy, Master Squad, Metabolic Pump, Pilates, Stretch, Swiss ball & Zumba if you are interested in teaching any of these classes.

Skills & Attributes:

• A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills
• Certificate III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL).
• Relevant Program Certification (eg - Aqua Aerobics, Deep Water Running, Yoga, Pilates, Boxing, Barre, Cycle, Circuit, Les Mills)
• Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate
• Working with Children's Check
• Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
• Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
• Availability to work mornings, evenings and weekends is essential

Previous industry experience is highly regarded!
