Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking experienced Aqua group fitness instructors for the Petria Thomas Swimming Pool in Mullumbimby. We offer rewarding sessional pay and opportunities to advance your fitness career within a growing Australian leisure organisation.

Ideal candidates will have Aqua certification, current fitness registration, first aid, CPR, and WWCC, plus the flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Previous industry experience is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Must hold Cert III in Fitness or equivalent.
• Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia.
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Working with Children Check required.
• Police check to be completed as part of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Aqua group fitness classes at the Mullumbimby venue.
• Deliver engaging, safe and energetic sessions for participants.
• Ensure safety and equipment checks before and after classes.
• Provide excellent customer service and foster an inclusive class environment.

Are you experienced in teaching Aqua?

The Role

We are looking for amazing group fitness instructors to teach at our venue. In particular those who have previously undertaken Aqua. All Group Fitness Instructors will be paid an impressive sessional rate.

Skills & Attributes

• A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills
• Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL).
• Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate
• Relevant Program Certification ( eg - Aqua Aerobics, Deep Water Running and Pilates )
• Working with Children's Check
• Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
• Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
• Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential

Previous industry experience is highly regarded!
