People One, a leading private equity and investment firm, is seeking a strong group financial controller to lead the finance function and partner with senior management in Sydney. The role reports to the CFO and focuses on robust financial and management reporting, month-end processes, taxation, and ongoing system improvements.

You will bring tertiary qualifications (CPA/CA), strong technical accounting knowledge, and a hands-on, detail-oriented approach.

Reporting directly to CFO, you will assist with the management of the finance function. Key duties include financial and management reporting, month end, systems and process improvements, taxation, and other ad hoc duties.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential to influence and allow the establishment of effective working relationships, both within and outside the organisation.

Relevant candidates will have tertiary qualifications (including CPA/CA). Strong technical accounting knowledge and hands on approach. Also, you will possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a team and autonomously. Strong computer literacy is required.
