Job summary

axr Recruitment & Search is seeking a high-calibre Finance Manager for a hands-on leadership role within the finance function. You will run month-end and year-end close, manage consolidation, and ensure capital spend is accurately accounted for while leading a team of accountants.

Qualifications

CA/CPA qualified with 8+ years in financial accounting or financial control.
Hands-on experience running a group close and multi-currency consolidation.
Asset-heavy industry background.
Experience managing and developing a team.
Strong ERP and Excel skills in a multi-entity environment.
A practical, improvement-minded approach to processes and controls.

Responsibilities

Run the month-end and year-end close for the Group, with a focus on speed and accuracy.
Review and sign off journals, accruals, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations.
Manage the multi-currency consolidation, including eliminations and FX translation.
Oversee project accounting, capitalisation, WIP, depreciation and disposals across the capital program.
Deliver monthly results and balance sheet commentary to finance leadership.
Maintain financial controls and procedures, support the year-end audit, and contribute to ERP improvements as new entities come on board.
