Job summary

Genesis Fitness is seeking enthusiastic Reformer Pilates instructors to join a supportive team at multiple locations in Australia. You will lead reformer-based classes, focus on safety and member engagement, and contribute to a welcoming fitness community.

Qualified applicants with reformer training are encouraged to apply; new graduates with reformer training are welcome and training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Qualified in your chosen field with reformer Pilates certification.
• Working with Children's Check completed or willingness to obtain.
• Senior First Aid and CPR certificates current.
• Infection Control Training certificate (COVID-19) held or willing to complete.
• Agree to police check as part of employment process.
• Reliable, customer-focused with a friendly can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead and instruct Reformer Pilates classes to members.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of participants during sessions.
• Engage with gym members and deliver excellent customer service.
• Attend in-house training and stay current with fitness guidelines.

Skills & Attributes

• A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills
• Relevant Program Certification (eg Reformer Pilates)
• Working with Children's Check
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate
• Infection Control Training certificate (COVID-19)
• Prepared to participate in in-house training
• Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
• Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
• Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential

Desirable:

• Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL).
• Willingness to complete Freestyle Instructor course if required
• Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or relevant body preferred

Previous industry experience is highly regarded!
