Job summary

Genesis Fitness is seeking enthusiastic Reformers Pilates instructors to join a friendly team at our Queensland clubs. Instructors must be qualified in reformer training and hold essential checks (Working with Children, Police, First Aid). Availability including evenings and weekends is essential to support our large class network.

We encourage new graduates with reformer training to apply. Genesis Fitness offers growth opportunities within a national network and ongoing in-house training.

Qualifications

• Qualified in reformer Pilates with current fitness registration.
• Must hold valid First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Legally eligible to work with children and pass police checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead reformer Pilates classes with energy and professionalism.
• Provide safe, inclusive instruction to a diverse clientele.
• support club team and participate in in-house training.

The Role

Our instructors must be qualified in their chosen field, new graduates with reformer training are encouraged to apply.

Skills & Attributes

• A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills
• Working with Children's Check
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate
• Infection Control Training certificate (COVID-19)
• Prepared to participate in in-house training
• Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
• Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
• Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential
• Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL).
• Willingness to complete Freestyle Instructor course if required
• Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or relevant body preferred

Previous industry experience is highly regarded!
