Job summary

Genesis Fitness is seeking enthusiastic Group Exercise Instructors to join our nationwide network of clubs. If you are passionate about teaching fitness and have the required qualifications, we want you on our team.

Instructors should be qualified in their field, able to work evenings and weekends, and willing to complete any training or checks as part of employment. A supportive work environment and opportunities for growth are offered across multiple locations.

• Lead engaging group exercise classes for members.
• Ensure safety and correct technique during sessions.

The Role

Genesis is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Group Exercise Instructors to work with a great team. If you think you are a star performer packing classes with your passion, skill and with the support of the world’s leading then Genesis Fitness is for you.

Our instructors must be qualified in their chosen field such as;

• Freestyle Trained
• Yoga, Pilates, Barre, Zumba or Reformer Pilates specific

Skills & Attributes:

• A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills
• Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL).
• Willingness to complete Freestyle Instructor course if required
• Working with Children's Check
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate
• Infection Control Training certificate (COVID-19)
• Prepared to participate in in-house training
• Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or relevant body preferredAgree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
• Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
• Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential

Previous industry experience is highly regarded!
