Job summary

Genesis Fitness is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Group Exercise Instructors to join a great team across our national network of health clubs. You will lead dynamic group classes, bringing passion and skill, and collaborate with experienced instructors to deliver engaging sessions.

Qualified in Freestyle, Yoga, Pilates, Barre or Zumba, you will meet readiness checks such as Working with Children checks and First Aid.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills.
• Must be qualified in chosen field such as Freestyle Trained, Yoga, Pilates, Barre or Zumba.
• Willingness to complete Freestyle Instructor course if required.
• Working with Children's Check.
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Infection Control Training certificate (COVID-19).
• Relevant Program Certification (e.g. Yoga, Barre, Boxing, Zumba, Pilates).
• Prepared to participate in in-house training.
• Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or relevant body preferred.
• Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process.
• Driven to success with friendly can do attitude.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead Group Exercise sessions as part of a team.
• Ensure sessions are engaging and safe for participants.
• Participate in in-house training and ongoing development.
• Comply with child safety framework and police checks as required.

The Role
