Job summary

Belgravia Health and Leisure Group Pty Ltd is seeking enthusiastic Group Exercise Instructors to lead engaging classes across our clubs. Qualified in the relevant fitness disciplines, you will join a supportive team and help create an inclusive fitness community.

Qualifications

• A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills.
• Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL) certifications are required.
• Willingness to complete Freestyle Instructor course if required.
• Working with Children's Check and police checks are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging group exercise classes for members across the network.
• Maintain safety, class quality and member engagement during sessions.
• Complete in-house training and stay current with instructional techniques and certifications.
• Be available to work evenings and weekends as required.

The Role

Genesis is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Group Exercise Instructors to work with a great team. If you think you are a star performer packing classes with your passion, skill and with the support of the world’s leading then Genesis Fitness is for you.

Our instructors must be qualified in their chosen field such as;

• Schwinn Cycle
• Freestyle Trained
• Yoga, Pilates, Barre or Zumba specific

Skills & Attributes:

• A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills
• Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL).
• Willingness to complete Freestyle Instructor course if required
• Working with Children's Check
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate
• Infection Control Training certificate (COVID-19)
• Relevant Program Certification ( eg - Yoga, Barre, Boxing, Zumba, Pilates etc )
• Prepared to participate in in-house training
• Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or relevant body preferred
• Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
• Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
• Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential

Previous industry experience is highly regarded!
