Qualifications

• Cert III and Cert IV in fitness required.
• First Aid Certificate required or obtainable.
• Reformer Pilates qualifications (Mat and Reformer) preferred.
• Authentic, passionate about Pilates and community.
• Natural on the podium and able to lead group exercise classes.
• Strong ability to connect with members and build community.
• Excellent communication across all levels.
• Can-do attitude and adaptability to change.
• Motivated to continually improve and help members.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and help them find what they need.
• Deliver immersive reformer Pilates classes in a social wellness club.
• Create engaging music to motivate members during class.

• Keep the studio safe: temperature, equipment, occupancy.

All about the role:

Be empowered by mastering the Reformer exercises you have grown to love, through expertly instructed creative sequences in a state-of-the-art studio, that will keep you feeling challenged and inspired with every class. At Virgin Active, we offer four main styles of pilates - foundations, align, athletic and recovery.

In a nutshell:

• You’ll welcome members and help them find whatever they need or whatever they’re looking for

• You’ll deliver immersive reformer pilates classes in a newly built social wellness club

• You’ll create thumping tunes to motivate and inspire members during the class

• You’ll embrace feedback and suggestions to improve your program delivery

• You’ll keep the studio safe, considering temperature, equipment and max occupancy

• You’ll advocate safety and ensure an overall safe environment for our members and team members

• You’ll attend paid team meetings and contribute to a supportive team culture

• You’ll be empowered to build a culture where the community become raving fans

All about you:

• You have your Cert III and Cert IV in fitness

• You have, or are willing to obtain, your First Aid Certificate

• You havereformer pilates qualifications. Mat and Reformer qualifications, A+ for you

• You're authentic. You love doing pilates in your own time and are passionate about inspiring members to experience physical, mental and emotional breakthrough moments in class

• You're a natural on the podium and love leading group exercise classes

• You're comfortable connecting with members and thrive on building true community

• You're self-assured. You listen intently. You speak eloquently. You can explain just about anything to anyone and you’re comfortable communicating at all levels

• You have a can-do approach. You think on your feet. You’re cool with ambiguity, and you roll with the punches when things change

• You're motivated to continually improve. Whatever a member needs, whatever a member is looking for, you help them find it
