Job summary

Cirql is seeking a detail-oriented, technically strong accountant to lead financial consolidation for a multi-entity manufacturing group in Australia. You will report to the Group Reporting Manager and oversee the monthly consolidation across 30-40 entities, ensuring data integrity and timely intercompany eliminations.

You will prepare statutory statements, coordinate with external auditors, manage banking covenants and tax compliance, and help produce board packs with insights for the Executive

Qualifications

• Experience with financial consolidation in a multi-entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax legislation.
• Proven ability to map complex operational data for executive decision making.
• Experience managing external audits and drafting statutory financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely consolidated financial information.
• Manage end-to-end monthly consolidation for 30-40 entities.
• Prepare half-year and annual statutory financial statements.
• Act as primary contact for external audit and manage queries.
• Prepare covenant calculations and reporting for banking partners.
• Oversee Group tax compliance including returns, BAS and DTA/L liabilities.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial board packs and management reports.
• Support insurance portfolio and annual renewal processes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline consolidation and reporting workflows.
