Job summary

The Glascott Group is seeking proactive Grounds Persons for on-site roles in Ipswich and the surrounding area. Join a friendly team focused on delivering quality horticultural spaces and improving open spaces.

Willingness to learn on the job is essential. Training and certification such as White Card, ChemCert, WPCG are highly regarded; manual driving licence preferred. Blackburn duties include garden care, mowing, weeding, mulching and tree planting.

Qualifications

• Garden/landscape maintenance experience preferred but not essential.
• On-site outdoor work requires reliability and practical skills.
• Card qualifications such as White Card/Chemcert are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outdoor landscapes across Ipswich and surrounding areas.
• Perform gardening duties: mowing, weeding, mulching, hedging, watering.
• Assist with tree planting and seasonal garden tasks.

About you:

• Willingness to learn on the job
• Construction Induction (White) Card highly regarded
• Chemcert Certification highly regarded
• WPCG certificate highly regarded
• Manual Drivers’ License highly regarded
• Knowledge and experience in garden / landscape maintenance and tree planting, preferred but not essential.
• Traffic Control Qualifications highly regarded.
• Trade qualifications in Horticulture / Arboriculture will be highly regarded.
