Job summary

Glascott is seeking a reliable Groundsperson for the Yatala depot, servicing Southern Brisbane and the Northern Gold Coast. This hands-on outdoor role involves maintaining gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas across commercial and government sites.

You’ll join a friendly crew, perform daily duties safely and to a high standard, and contribute to planned maintenance schedules while operating and maintaining equipment with care.

Qualifications

• Experience in horticulture, landscaping or grounds maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of garden and turf maintenance practices.
• Current White Card.
• Current Manual Driver’s Licence.
• Ability to work outdoors in a physically demanding role.
• Reliable, hardworking and safety-focused attitude.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.

Yatala Depot | South Brisbane & Northern Gold Coast

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Groundsperson to join our growing grounds maintenance team based out of our Yatala depot, servicing sites across Southern Brisbane and the Northern Gold Coast.

About The Role

This is a hands-on outdoor role working as part of a friendly and experienced grounds maintenance crew. You’ll work across a range of commercial and government maintenance contracts, helping keep gardens, lawns and landscaped areas looking their best. You’ll work alongside your team to complete jobs safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Daily Duties Include

• Lawn mowing and edging
• Hedging and pruning
• Whipper snipping
• Weed spraying and control
• General landscaping and garden maintenance
• Planting and garden care
• Operating and maintaining equipment safely
• Working as part of a team to complete daily maintenance schedules
• Maintaining sites to a high standard

What We’re Looking For
