Job summary

Glascott is seeking proactive Grounds Persons to join our outdoor maintenance team in Ipswich and surrounding areas. Immediate start available with competitive hourly rates and benefits.

Experience in garden/landscape maintenance, tree planting, and outdoor work is preferred. Card and certifications such as White Card, Chemcert, and WPCG are highly regarded, with a focus on safety and practical skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in garden and landscape maintenance; tree planting and landscape tasks.
• On-site outdoor work; ability to learn on the job.
• Certifications in safety and landscape trade are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain gardens and landscapes
• Plant trees and shrubs
• Weed, mulch and hedge as required
• Water and care for plants
• Mow and manage open space areas
• Support outdoor asset maintenance projects

• Willingness to learn on the job
• Construction Induction (White) Card highly regarded
• Chemcert Certification highly regarded
• WPCG certificate highly regarded
• Manual Drivers’ License highly regarded
• Knowledge and experience in garden / landscape maintenance and tree planting, preferred but not essential.
• Traffic Control Qualifications highly regarded.
• Trade qualifications in Horticulture / Arboriculture will be highly regarded.
