Palm Lake Group is seeking a committed Groundskeeper to maintain pristine resort grounds at Palm Lake Resort Toowoomba. The role is full-time, 38 hours per week, 6am–6pm, Monday to Friday, with hands-on duties across gardens, lawns and outdoor areas to keep them safe, clean and visually appealing year-round.

You will trim hedges and trees, mow and edge, control weeds with herbicides, and manage irrigation systems; the role requires a valid C class licence and gardening experience.

Qualifications

• C class driver’s licence is required.
• Relevant gardening experience in a similar role.
• Qualification in Cert III Horticulture or equivalent is advantageous.
• ACDC chemical licence is advantageous.
• Ability to use equipment such as push mower, ride on mower, hedge trimmer, whipper snipper and blower.
• Physically able to perform duties including bending, lifting and carrying.

Responsabilités

• Raking and blowing leaves, pruning and disposing of dying vegetation.
• Planting, mulching, and maintaining flowers and shrubs; watering and irrigation maintenance.

• Ensure all mechanical equipment and tools are kept in good working order.

Position Details

We're looking for a committed and enthusiastic Groundskeeper to join our Palm Lake Resort Toowoomba team and help keep our resort grounds in pristine condition.

This is a Full Time role, working 38 hours per week between the hours of 6am to 6pm Monday to Friday in a hands-on capacity to maintain our gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas, ensuring they are safe, clean, and visually appealing. Your work will be essential to ensuring the resort grounds are presented to a high standard for our residents and visitors year-round.

• A \"C\" class drivers licence;

• Possess the physical ability to undertake the requirements of the role, including bending, lifting and carrying.
