City of Ryde is seeking Groundskeepers to maintain parks, sportsfields and open spaces across Ryde. This permanent full-time role offers a rostered day off every three weeks and training pathways to support career development.
You'll join a small team, perform outdoor maintenance, operate grounds equipment and help deliver safe, well-presented facilities for the Ryde community.

About the Role
Do you enjoy working outdoors and taking pride in maintaining parks, sportsgrounds and community spaces?
We're looking for motivated and reliable Groundskeepers to join our Parks & Sportsgrounds team. This hands‑on role contributes to the maintenance and presentation of Council's parks, reserves, sporting fields and open spaces.
Working as part of a small team, you'll undertake a variety of outdoor maintenance activities while helping deliver quality facilities that are enjoyed by the Ryde community every day.
About You
You are someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in a job well done. You are reliable, safety‑focused and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Whether your experience comes from grounds maintenance, landscaping, labouring, horticulture, sports field maintenance or another outdoor role, you'll bring a strong work ethic, reliability and a willingness to contribute to the team.

Your commencing annual salary will range from $61,294.02 to $70,050.31 per annum + 12.5% superannuation. Salary offered will be dependent on skills, knowledge and experience.
