Job summary

NRMA Ocean Beach Holiday Resort on the Central Coast is seeking casual Grounds or Maintenance Attendants to join our team. You’ll support either the Grounds or Maintenance team, or both, on a roster from 7:00am to 7:30pm, helping keep outdoor spaces guest-ready.

Experience in groundskeeping or general maintenance is ideal, with a practical, can-do approach. A current driver’s license is highly regarded, and there are opportunities for flexible hours and career progression within NRMA.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping, gardening, landscaping, maintenance, handyman work or a similar hands-on role.
• A practical, can-do approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to safety and safe work practices.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work in a hands-on outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Grounds Responsibilities: Mowing lawns and maintaining gardens.
• Grounds Responsibilities: Pruning, hedging, weeding and general landscaping.
• Grounds Responsibilities: Keeping outdoor spaces clean, tidy and guest-ready.
• Grounds Responsibilities: Assisting with irrigation and grounds projects.
• Grounds Responsibilities: Maintaining pathways, recreational areas and public spaces.
• Maintenance Responsibilities: Completing general repairs across cabins, amenities and resort facilities.
• Maintenance Responsibilities: Responding to maintenance requests and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Maintenance Responsibilities: Assisting with painting, minor carpentry and basic repairs.
• Maintenance Responsibilities: Carrying out pool inspections and basic pool maintenance.

At NRMA Ocean Beach Holiday Resort, we’re preparing for another busy holiday season and are looking for multiple Casual Grounds, or Maintenance Attendants to join the team. We have opportunities available for:

Whether you’re experienced in general maintenance, enjoy keeping gardens and outdoor spaces looking their best, or have a combination of both, we’d love to hear from you. Working across a roster between 7:00am and 7:30pm, you’ll help ensure our resort remains safe, welcoming, and guest‑ready for the thousands of holidaymakers who visit each year.

What You’ll Do

Depending on your experience and interests, you’ll support either our Grounds team, Maintenance team, or a combination of both.

Grounds Responsibilities

• Mowing lawns and maintaining gardens

What You’ll Bring

We’re open to candidates with grounds experience, maintenance experience, or both. You’ll ideally have:

• Experience in groundskeeping, gardening, landscaping, maintenance, handyman work or a similar hands‑on role
• A practical, can‑do approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to safety and safe work practices
• Good physical fitness and ability to work in a hands‑on outdoor environment
• Pride in maintaining high presentation standards
• A current driver’s licence (highly regarded)
• Flexibility to work across weekends, public holidays and peak holiday periods

Highly Regarded

• Gardening, horticulture or greenkeeping experience
• Pool operations or pool maintenance experience
• Experience operating grounds maintenance equipment, including mowers and landscaping tool.
