Job summary

Ingenia Communities Group is seeking a Casual Grounds & Maintenance Officer for the Nambucca Heads Holidays site. Reporting to the Park Manager, you will keep the park looking beautiful, safe, and welcoming, ensuring guests enjoy a clean, well-maintained environment every day.

This role involves maintaining gardens, grounds, and basic repairs, with opportunities to contribute to site presentation and overall guest experience in a coastal setting.

Qualifications

• Grounds and maintenance experience with attention to safety procedures.
• Practical knowledge of chemicals, equipment, and pool or site systems.
• Hold a current C class driver license.
• Able to perform hands-on, physical tasks in a park setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain garden areas: pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, mowing.
• Keep grounds clean and safe: clear debris, bins, weed/pest spraying, pool areas (if applicable).
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance: lighting, fixtures, fencing, painting.
• Respond to resident/guest maintenance requests and coordinate with trades as needed.
• Support site presentation and security by logging maintenance activities.

Reporting to the Park Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping the park looking beautiful, safe, and welcoming — ensuring guests enjoy a clean, well‑maintained environment every day.

In this Role, You’ll

• Maintain all garden areas through pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, hedging, mowing and edging.
• Keep grounds clean and safe by clearing debris, collecting bins, spraying for weeds/pests, and maintaining pool areas (if applicable).
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance, including tools, equipment, lighting, fixtures, fencing, BBQs and basic painting.
• Respond to resident/guest maintenance requests, provide feedback on contractor work, and elevate issues to trades when needed.
• Support site presentation and security by reporting damage or incidents and accurately logging all maintenance and repair activities.
