Job summary

Ingenia Communities Group in Byron Bay is seeking a Casual Grounds & Maintenance Officer to help keep our holiday park site welcoming, clean and safe. Reporting to the Park Manager, you’ll perform garden care, minor repairs, and assist with pool areas where applicable, delivering high standards for residents and guests.

The role suits hands-on people who work well in a team, follow safety procedures, and hold a current C class driver license.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds and maintenance tasks at a site or park.
• Hold a current C class driver license.
• Ability to perform physical, hands-on work in an outdoor environment.
• Demonstrated safety awareness and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain garden areas through pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, hedging, mowing and edging.
• Keep grounds clean and safe by clearing debris, collecting bins, spraying for weeds/pests, and maintaining pool areas (if applicable).
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance, including tools, equipment, lighting, fixtures, fencing, BBQs and basic painting.
• Respond to resident/guest maintenance requests, provide feedback on contractor work, and elevate issues to trades when needed.
• Support site presentation and security by reporting damage or incidents and accurately logging all maintenance and repair activities.

Reporting to the Park Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping the park looking beautiful, safe, and welcoming - ensuring guests enjoy a clean, well-maintained environment every day.

In this Role, You’ll
