Job summary

Lockheed Martin Australia is seeking a Ground Systems & Infrastructure Engineer in Adelaide to lead end-to-end deployment of SouthPAN Ground Reference Station infrastructure. You will steer planning, delivery, commissioning and transition to operations across multiple engineering disciplines with customers and subcontractors.

The role balances engineering and project delivery, with up to 50% travel to sites across Australia and New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Experience leading infrastructure delivery projects within a structured engineering and regulatory environment.
• Strong project management capability, including management of technical, schedule and program risks.
• Experience working on infrastructure, civil construction, telecommunications or other complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, delivery, commissioning and transition to operations of SouthPAN Ground Reference Station infrastructure projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and stakeholder expectations to achieve successful delivery outcomes.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring technical, cost and schedule commitments are met.
• Resolve technical and delivery issues during installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Develop project documentation, engineering artefacts and customer deliverables to support program execution.
• Collaborate with engineering, test, sustainment and program teams to deliver integrated technical and operational outcomes.
