Job summary

Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Non-Emergency Patient Transport on the ground in Dubbo. You will deliver safe, compassionate care during patient transfers between facilities and airports and work within a supportive transport healthcare team.

You will hold current AHPRA registration, ALS/BLS (or obtain) and have 3+ years post-graduate acute nursing experience, with ICU/ED exposure and a NSW driver license.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration and current practising certificate.
• ALS and BLS certifications or ability to obtain them prior to commencement.
• Minimum 3 years post-graduate acute nursing experience, with ICU/ED exposure.
• NSW driver license and ability to obtain required clearances.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical care during non-emergency ground patient transfers.
• Assess patients and monitor stability throughout transport.
• Recognise deterioration and respond appropriately.
• Coordinate with hospitals, Operations Centre and aero-medical teams.
• Maintain patient documentation and clinical standards.
