Job summary

Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section is seeking a Non-Emergency Patient Transport Ground Registered Nurse for casual opportunities in Wagga Wagga. You’ll deliver clinical care during non-emergency transfers, assess patients, and liaise with healthcare teams to ensure safe journeys.

Ideal candidates hold current AHPRA registration, ALS/BLS, and have post-graduate acute nursing experience. NSW Driver Licence and ability to obtain required checks are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Registered Nurse with post-graduate acute care exposure.
• AHPRA registration is current and maintained.
• ALS and BLS certifications are current or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality clinical care during non-emergency ground transfers.
• Assess patients and monitor clinical stability during transport.
• Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration as needed.
• Liaise with hospitals, Operations Centre and aero-medical team.
• Maintain patient documentation and comply with clinical standards.
• Contribute to operational and administrative tasks when required.
