Job summary

Qantas Ground Services (QGS) at Sydney Airport is seeking a Performance Manager to lead and inspire a team of Ground Staff, driving operational and people-centric outcomes within a highly regulated environment.

You will manage attendance, fitness for work, disciplinary matters, and day-of-operations escalations while ensuring regulatory compliance and a culture of continuous improvement; extensive leadership experience in aviation or logistics preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading large frontline or operational teams in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of performance management, attendance and wellbeing.
• Experience with disciplinary processes and fitness-for-work assessments.
• Ability to drive safety outcomes and safety culture.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Analytical skills to interpret workforce data and trends.
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive matters.
• Aviation, freight or complex operations experience preferred.
