Qantas Ground Services is seeking a Performance Manager to lead a large frontline team at Sydney Airport. The role focuses on achieving operational and people-centric outcomes, improving safety, engagement, and performance in a highly regulated environment. This is a full-time FTC for 18 months.
You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage escalations, and drive capability development while maintaining regulatory compliance and a culture of continuous improvement.

Qantas Ground Services (QGS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Qantas Airways and we're responsible for providing ground handling and freight services to the Qantas Group.
As the Performance Manager you will be responsible in leading and inspiring a team of Ground Staff in achieving the QGS operational and business objectives. This role is pivotal in driving team performance, engagement, and development, while overseeing day-of-operations escalations and ensuring regulatory compliance.
You'll be responsible for managing all aspects of employee performance, including attendance, fitness for work, and disciplinary matters, fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce. With a strong focus on communication and capability development, you'll support individuals and teams to meet performance criteria and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
