Job summary

Petstock Noosa is seeking a Full-Time Groomer to provide comprehensive grooming services for various breeds, ensuring a positive client experience and adherence to safety standards.

You will coordinate with the Store Manager, manage bookings, assist the frontline team, and uphold high standards of salon presentation while contributing to sales and local marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional dog grooming.
• Qualification in Grooming preferred.
• Ability to embed strong safety practices throughout the salon/store.
• Good knowledge of breed clips and grooming styles.
• Physically fit with ability to lift heavy animals.
• Experience handling live animals.
• Understanding of zoonotic and skin diseases and how to identify them.
• Proven ability to exceed grooming KPIs through high-quality care and customer satisfaction.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide full grooming services for a variety of breeds, including bathing, drying, nail clipping, brushing and breed-specific clipping.
• Create a positive and memorable grooming experience for all customers and their dogs.
• Coordinate the grooming salon and clients with the Store Manager.
• Make client bookings.
• Assist store floor team with exceptional customer service.
• Maintain high salon presentation and oversee stock management.
• Work with Store Manager to meet member program targets and expectations.
• Support local marketing opportunities and recruitment referrals.
• Work with the team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Maintain a strong safety mindset and culture of safety within the team.

• Provide full grooming services for a variety of breeds, including bathing, drying, nail clipping, brushing, combing and both generic and breed-specific clipping
• Provide a positive and memorable grooming experience for all customers and their dogs
• Coordinate the grooming salon and clients in conjunction with the Store Manager
