You will own the grill area, deliver high-quality steaks and proteins, and support a collaborative kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a busy restaurant.
• Strong grill skills, including steaks to the requested temperature.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Reliable, hands-on approach and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.
• Australian work rights suitable for full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the daily preparation and operation of the grill section.
• Cook steaks and other proteins accurately to order, maintaining consistent quality and presentation.
• Manage mise en place to ensure the section is ready for service.
• Maintain portion control, stock rotation and food safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with the team to keep service running smoothly.
• Support junior team members and contribute to a professional kitchen environment.
