Job summary

AEMO, Australia’s independent energy system operator, invites an Electrical Engineer to join the Congestion and Grid Engineering team in Hobart. You will support senior engineers in modelling generators and networks in EMS/SCADA, contribute to testing, and help maintain secure and reliable power systems for the NEM and WEM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a power systems focus.
• Experience in energy sector or similar complex infrastructure environment.
• Experience with electrical power system modelling and analysis tools (SCADA/EMS).

Responsibilities

• Regular and timely updates to EMS to reflect power system changes.
• Contribute to commissioning/registration of generating plant including SCADA list approval and testing.
