Job summary

Australian Energy Market Operator is seeking an Engineer - Grid Modelling to support grid modelling, EMS updates and testing in the NT. You will work with senior team members to model generators and networks and contribute to SCADA/EMS testing within AEMO's control room scope.

The role requires electrical engineering qualifications with a power systems focus and experience in energy infrastructure. Flexible work options and competitive wellbeing benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering with a power system focus.
• Experience in energy sector or similar complex infrastructure.
• Experience with electrical power system modelling and analysis tools such as SCADA/EMS.
• Strong understanding of power systems and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Regular updates to AEMO’s EMS to reflect changes in generators, loads and network.
• Contribute to commissioning/registration of generating plant including SCADA approvals and testing.
