Job summary

Zinfra invites applications for an Access Coordinator (HV Switching Operator) based in Victoria. You will manage network access, outages and paperwork for safe field operations from Thomastown depot, ensuring compliance and timely execution.

The role requires hands-on switching instruction preparation, high voltage operation, and clear communication with crews and network authorities. Trade qualification and VESI/ESI credentials preferred; readiness to work flexible hours is valued.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification required (Cert III in Power or Electrotechnology).
• Ability to prepare and lodge switching instructions and outage paperwork.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Victorian Electrical Distribution, Transmission and Sub Transmission Networks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage network outage applications and switching instructions.
• Operate on transmission and sub-transmission apparatus.
• Identify improvement opportunities and support high quality client outcomes.
• Ensure quality control measures are implemented and provide guidance to team.
• Visit sites to assess safe delivery methods and mitigate risks.
• Manage customer expectations with clear communication.
