Job summary

Grace Group's Removals division is seeking an experienced Operations Manager in NSW's Newcastle region. You will lead branch operations, manage staff, schedules and fleet maintenance to deliver superior service to clients in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will apply strong leadership, planning and safety compliance to meet budgets and quality standards, while collaborating with sales, admin and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills.
• Proven organizational/planning ability.
• The ability to liaise with sales, admin and operational personnel.
• Computer Literacy.

Responsibilities

• Controlling and managing a superior service delivery to our clients.
• Manage Branch operations, labour and vehicle resources in order to achieve delivery and service objectives.
• Manage and lead the operations personnel ensuring adherence to standard procedures.
• Plan, manage and review all fleet repairs and visual maintenance.
• Maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Comply with company policy and legislative requirements relation to Work Health and Safety, storage and handling of dangerous goods, quality assurance, environmental protection, traffic laws and Federal and State Government Regulations.
• Manage operational costs against budgets and targets as set by the Branch Manager.
• Manage and maintain property, plant and site security.

Working for the Removals business division of the Grace group of companies, you will be calling on your previous operations and management experience whilst using the skills and techniques we will teach you to achieve our company objectives. This is client focused role with an opportunity to make a difference.

What will you be doing?

• Controlling and managing a superior service delivery to our clients
