Job summary

Blacktown City Council is seeking a proactive Greenspace Service Operations Officer to coordinate maintenance across parks, sportsgrounds, playgrounds and open spaces. You will liaise with teams to prioritise works and ensure community expectations align with service delivery.

The role focuses on monitoring performance, identifying service gaps, and preparing reports for residents, groups and internal stakeholders, while supporting strategy development and digital system improvements.

• Liaise with operational teams to prioritise maintenance works and align service outcomes with community expectations.
• Monitor service performance and customer trends to identify gaps and improvements.
• Prepare reports and correspondence for residents, community groups, Councillors and internal stakeholders.
• Support development of strategies, service charters and follow-up systems and contribute to service planning.
• Identify process bottlenecks, support workflow automation and enhance digital systems for better communication, accountability and transparency.
• Collaborate with leaders and units to ensure customer feedback informs priorities and continuous improvement.
