Job summary

Ashdown People is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead a Green Space Infrastructure Project in New South Wales. This contract role focuses on delivering local infrastructure outcomes with strong governance and stakeholder engagement.

You will manage end-to-end project delivery over a multi-year horizon, lead a small team in the field, coordinate with contractors and authorities, and ensure WHS compliance and risk management across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience in project management environments.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering, Landscape, Horticulture, Project Management or related field.
• Experience managing long-duration delivery projects (3+ years).
• Strong leadership capabilities and ability to develop others.
• Experience managing broad and diverse stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for infrastructure works in the field.
• Manage project risks and competing priorities within your portfolio.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and authorities to achieve outcomes.
• Ensure WHS compliance per NSW Health and Safety acts and regulations.

If you have experience project managing infrastructure projects at the local level this role could be for you!

Ideally you will have experience:

• Across the project management life cycle in an infrastructure environment
• Have a tertiary qualification in the disciplines ofConstruction, Civil Engineering, Landscape, Horticulture, Project Management or related fields
• You will have five years' experience in these environments
• You have experience managing long duration delivery projects of 3 years
• You can command strong leadership of a small team
• You have proven leadership capabilities and, can assist other in growing and developing
• You have experience managing broad and diverse stakeholder groups
• You have an understanding of theNew South Wales Work Health Safety Act 2011, Work Health Safety Regulation 2017 and WHS Systems
• You have experience of managing project risks and multiple competing projects within your own portfolio
• You have experience conducting this role in the field
• Class C driver's license
