Job summary

Queensland Government in Brisbane is seeking a skilled graphic designer to develop, design and produce a broad range of corporate and exhibition-based projects within a fast-paced studio environment.

You will work on corporate and exhibition publications, marketing collateral, educational materials, children's activities, large-format graphics and wallpapers, retail merchandise and branding, under supervision of the Senior Graphic Designer.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design and at least five years of relevant industry experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience with corporate and exhibition publications, marketing collateral and educational material preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce corporate and exhibition publications and branding for QAGOMA.
• Create marketing collateral, educational materials and children's activities.
• Develop large-format graphics, wallpapers, retail merchandise and illustrative assets under supervision.

Working within a supportive team of five, this position will develop, design and produce a broad range of corporate and exhibition-based projects for QAGOMA, in a fast-paced open planned studio.Core work includes the design and production of corporate and exhibition publications, marketing collateral, educational material, children's activities, large-format graphics and wallpapers, retail merchandise, illustrative assets and exhibition branding, under the supervision of the Senior Graphic Designer.Technical RequirementsPossession of an appropriate tertiary qualification in Graphic Design combinedwith at least five years of relevant industry experienceAdvanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite programs, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is required.The role description will outline any licences and specific requirements of the role.
