The Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art is seeking a talented graphic designer who specialises in print media to join our creative team. Based on-site at the Gallery of Modern Art, this is a 12 month full-time temporary position.

The graphic design position is a dedicated print specialist role requiring 5+ years industry experience in editorial and publication design, impactful branding solutions and large format graphics expertise.

A sound knowledge of prepress and print production is essential, as well as a passion for colour, typography and layout.

Working within a supportive team of five, this position will develop, design and produce a broad range of corporate and exhibition-based projects for QAGOMA, in a fast-paced open planned studio.Core work includes the design and production of corporate and exhibition publications, marketing collateral, educational material, children's activities, large-format graphics and wallpapers, retail merchandise, illustrative assets and exhibition branding, under the supervision of the Senior Graphic Designer.

Technical Requirements

• Possession of an appropriate tertiary qualification in Graphic Design combined
  with at least five years of relevant industry experience
• Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite programs, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is required.
