Job summary

Lachlan Shire Council is seeking a motivated Grants Officer to join our team in Condobolin. This full-time role supports the Council and community groups with managing the grant application process, including preparation of information and writing grant submissions.

The role focuses on maximising grant and subsidy revenue in line with the Integrated Planning and Reporting framework, requiring strong communication, autonomy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or willingness to undertake studies with relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated achievement in sourcing external funding for community projects and programmes.
• Strong communication skills and positive customer focus, including active listening, public speaking and report writing.
• Ability to operate autonomously and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Capable of working collaboratively in a team environment.
• Current Class C Drivers Licence.
• Working with Children check clearance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation.
