Job summary

Carrathool Shire invites applications for a Community Development and Projects Manager. You will support the community by sourcing grant funding, delivering events, and managing a broad range of council and community projects, including caravan park and swimming pool facilities.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, excellent project management, and the ability to meet deadlines while adapting to competing priorities.

Qualifications

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications or experience demonstrating ability relevant to the position.
• Demonstrated high-level stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
• Outstanding project management skills, with a demonstrated understanding of a project lifecycle.
• Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines and respond with flexibility to competing priorities.
• Well-developed report writing skills.
• Proficient computer skills and experience with the Microsoft suite of programs.
• Possession of a Class C driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Procure grant funding and deliver community events.
• Develop, manage and deliver a range of council and community projects.
• Manage all Council’s Caravan Park and Swimming pool facilities and their operation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet deadlines and balance priorities.
