Job summary

Raytheon Australia seeks an early career Systems Engineer to join the SRGBAD Support Program at Mawson Lakes. You will work with experienced engineers on the NASAMS capability, contributing to the systems engineering lifecycle and integration activities.

You will develop technical artefacts, support risk assessments and stakeholder briefings, and travel as required across Australia and internationally. This role offers strong growth within defence engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Eligible for NV1 security clearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience in defence, aerospace or complex technical environments desirable.
• Willingness to travel within Australia and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering team to investigate technical problems and contribute to capability upgrades.
• Assist with design proposals, technical presentations, reports and stakeholder briefings.
• Assist in planning and executing integration, verification and validation activities.
• Support development and maintenance of systems engineering artefacts and verification evidence.
• Contribute to technical risk assessments, systems engineering reviews and engineering assurance activities.
• Contribute to System Safety activities, including hazard analysis.
• Support configuration management and technical data management activities.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies relevant to air defence capability.
