Job summary

Fugro is seeking a Graduate Project Engineer to join our team in West Perth, supporting subsea and ROV projects across the full lifecycle. You will work with experienced Project Managers, Lead Engineers and Senior Project Engineers, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship.

You will contribute to planning, documentation, design reviews and offshore readiness, while developing your engineering and project management skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Structural, Ocean Engineering or Naval Architecture.
• Recent graduation or up to 2 years' post-graduate engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• The ability to obtain offshore survival certification and pass the associated medical examination.
• Exposure to engineering software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, OrcaFlex or similar is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Project Managers and Senior Engineers in the planning and execution of project work scopes.
• Assisting with project documentation, engineering deliverables, design reviews and technical reporting.
• Coordinating project activities with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assisting with equipment preparation, mobilisation planning and offshore readiness activities.
• Supporting the management of project schedules, budgets and progress tracking.
• Participating in engineering studies, risk assessments, HAZIDs and constructability reviews.
