Job summary

Avina invites new graduates to join a 12-month Graduate Program in Speech Pathology, offering a structured onboarding and a gradual caseload ramp-up. You will be supported by senior clinicians, with regular supervision and multidisciplinary learning opportunities across community, clinic, home and school settings.

The program focuses on developing clinical identity and confidence, with shadowing, feedback and peer learning to help you transition into independent practice during your first year.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology completed or nearing completion.
• Speech Pathology Australia membership or eligibility.
• Interest in community, disability and person-centred practice.
• Curiosity, initiative and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Speech Pathology services across community, clinic, home and school environments.
• Caseload will build gradually with ongoing clinical support available throughout the graduate year.
• Collaborate within an MDT and with experienced clinicians.
