Job summary

Avina is a national allied health and behaviour support organisation recruiting graduates for a 12-month Speech Pathology program in Western Sydney. You’ll benefit from a structured 9-week onboarding, supervision and a supported transition to independent practice within an MDT.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across paediatric and adult caseloads, with opportunities to develop skills in assessment, intervention, reporting and family-centred care in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology completed or nearing completion.
• Membership or eligibility with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Willingness to obtain NDIS and WWC checks.
• Interest in community, disability and person-centred practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-informed, person-centred Speech Pathology services across community, clinic, home and school.
• Take on increasing ownership of a real caseload as capability grows.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support clients and families.
• Contribute to documentation and reporting consistent with standards.
