Job summary

APM Group’s Early Start Australia Graduate program is designed to advance graduates to independent therapists within 12 months, with strong clinical supervision and structured induction.

You’ll work at the Werribee clinic delivering early intervention speech pathology services, collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams, and engage in ongoing CPD and career development within a supportive, diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Membership/registration with SPA.
• Current Driver’s License and vehicle.
• Current Working with Children Check or Working with Vulnerable People Registration (state specific).
• NDIS workers screening check & Police Check.
• Accredited first aid & CPR certificate.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Exceptional observational and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver early intervention speech pathology services to children and families, supporting communication, participation, and independence.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments (formal and informal) to identify speech, language, and developmental needs.
• Develop and implement individualised, evidence-based therapy plans aligned with family goals and child needs.
• Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams using a key worker/transdisciplinary approach.
• Monitor, review, and adapt therapy programs based on client progress and feedback.
• Provide education, resources, and ongoing support to empower families in decision-making and home-based practice.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and NDIS-related records within required timeframes.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders (e.g., schools, health professionals, support coordinators) to support client outcomes.
