Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a technical professional to execute integrated commissioning tests for software and Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) on- and off-site in Melbourne. You will write test scripts, perform debugging, and QA, and communicate progress to the team.

You will capture real-time test evidence, track progress, and coordinate with Software Project Manager, Systems Integration Manager, and customers to ensure successful system acceptance and training of end users.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or related field with strong academic results.
• Background or experience in software engineering and/or automation.
• Experience in real-time manual and automated environments.
• Experience with various equipment interface protocols.
• Knowledge of WMS / WCS software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute integrated commissioning tests between software and MHE both on- and off-site.
• Write commissioning test scripts from project specifications.
• Debug and fix issues and perform QA/testing.
• Capture, summarise and communicate testing results to the team.
• Record evidence of test results in real time and track progress.
• Triage and manage issues affecting progress and schedule.
• Coordinate with project managers, leads, engineers, and customers.
• Train end users on Dematic application workflows.
