Job summary

Boar Group, a Brisbane-based fire protection, HVAC and facilities services group, is building an in-house software platform. This is your chance to be the first dedicated software developer, collaborating with product owners and leadership to shape the product from day one.

You'll work across React front end, Node.js API, PostgreSQL, and AWS, with a culture of fast learning and meaningful customer impact. Hybrid work with on-site activity in Brisbane is expected.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or final-semester student in CS/SE/IT or similar.
• Projects (uni/side) count; show demonstrable work.
• Comfort with at least one programming language, SQL, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Build features across the stack: React frontend, Node.js API, PostgreSQL backend.
• Develop mobile applications.
• Turn product ideas into well-scoped work with the product owner.
• Test software and fix issues; keep docs up to date.
