Boar Group, a Brisbane-based provider of fire protection, HVAC and facilities services, is building an in-house software team. We’re seeking our first dedicated software developer to own internal platforms, working with the product owner and leadership to translate ideas into solid work.

You’ll build features with React, Node.js and PostgreSQL, deploy on AWS, write tests and documentation, and spend time with end users to improve the product.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate in computer science, software engineering, IT or similar.
• You've built projects — uni projects, side projects, anything you can show us.
• You know a programming language, some SQL, git, and how the web works.
• You write clearly and ask good questions.

Responsabilités

• Build new features across the stack using React front end, Node.js API, PostgreSQL.
• Develop mobile applications.
• Turn product owner ideas into clear, well-scoped work.
• Test what you build, properly, and fix issues.
• Keep documentation up to date.
• Learn to deploy and run the platform on AWS with guard rails.
• Engage with users and internal staff to inform product improvements.
