Job summary

Greenvale Secondary College, established by the Victorian Government, is recruiting graduate teachers as it expands Year 7–11 cohorts. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, monitor student progress, and work with mentors to support student wellbeing and learning outcomes.

The role emphasizes literacy and numeracy integration, collaboration with families and colleagues, and participation in professional learning to continually improve teaching quality.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the relevant curriculum with literacy and numeracy integration.
• Ability to implement high impact teaching strategies and monitor outcomes.
• Capacity to monitor learning, use data to inform practice and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Strong communication to build relationships with students, families and staff.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning and reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a range of teaching programs.
• Teach across one or more subjects to assigned year levels.
• Monitor, evaluate and report student progress in key areas.
• Use data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with mentors and contribute to school priorities and policy development.
• Support co-curricular programs and student wellbeing initiatives.
