Job summary

Transgrid’s 2028 Graduate Program is your opportunity to build a meaningful, long-term career in the energy sector. Starting in February 2028, the two-year program provides hands-on experience, four 6-month rotations across different business areas, and mentorship from industry experts.

We seek curious, motivated Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering graduates who are eligible to work in Australia or New Zealand, graduating by January 2028, and able to attend an in-person Assessment Centre in

Qualifications

• Hold or be in your final year of Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Australian or New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident, or eligible working visa.
• Graduated or graduating by January 2028.
• Available to attend an in-person Assessment Centre in May 2027.
• Demonstrate teamwork, clear communication, problem-solving and a genuine interest in sustainability.
