Glencore is seeking graduating or recently graduated students to join our Graduate Program commencing February 2027. You will join a global mining organisation and build a strong foundation for a long-term career with real responsibility from day one.

You will work across environmental and community activities, including site rotations across multiple operations in Australia, gaining hands-on exposure and mentoring from experienced professionals to accelerate your development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering or related discipline (completed prior to commencement).
• Committed to working safely and contributing to a strong safety culture.
• Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn and develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Noise and vibration control.
• Surface and groundwater management.
• Air quality monitoring and control.
• Waste management.
• Rehabilitation of disturbed land and biodiversity management.
• Collating and analysing environmental monitoring data to quantify performance.
• Completing technical reports and supporting environmental strategies.
• Participating in project management and site rotations to gain exposure across multiple operations.

About the Role

As a Graduate Environment and Community Professional, you will be offered a permanent position within our environmental teams, gaining hands-on experience in a wide range of environmental and community activities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Noise and vibration control
• Surface and groundwater management
• Air quality monitoring and control
• Waste management
• Rehabilitation of disturbed land and biodiversity management
• Collating and analysing environmental monitoring data to quantify performance
• Completing technical reports and supporting environmental strategies
• Participating in project management and site rotations to gain exposure across multiple operations

You’ll work closely with experienced environmental professionals who will support your learning and development while helping optimise environmental performance and achieve organisational goals.

About You

You will be:

• Qualified with a Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental), Bachelor of Science (Environmental Management, Ecology), or a related discipline (completed prior to commencement)
