Job summary

Early Start Australia offers a 12-month graduate program for Occupational Therapy graduates. You’ll be supported by clinical supervision, mentoring and a dedicated buddy while you grow confidence and start making a positive impact on children and families.

Join our Durack clinic to develop clinical skills, manage your own caseload progressively, and benefit from ongoing professional development, team support, and structured induction as you transition from student to independent clinician.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Registration with AHPRA or equivalent body.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• State-specific Working with Children Check or Working with Vulnerable People registration.
• NDIS worker screening and a Police Check.
• First aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and manage a varied caseload with a client-centred approach.
• Design and adjust individualized therapy programs based on client goals.
• Deliver therapy across clinic, home, school and community settings.
• Collaborate with families, other health professionals and external stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, complete reviews and update reports.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communications with stakeholders.
• Ensure plans align with funding requirements including NDIS plans.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards and support continuous service improvement.
