Job summary

Blundstone Australia is seeking a Graduate Design Officer in Hobart to join a two-year program that takes you from graduate to Footwear Designer. You will contribute to digital design, 3D rendering and the full product lifecycle across your projects.

You will be mentored by senior leaders, travel domestically and internationally, and lead your own design projects culminating in a capstone presentation to the business.

Qualifications

• A degree in Design (Footwear or Fashion) completed within the last two years or before commencement.
• Portfolio showing Illustrator/Photoshop work and digital product creation/3D rendering.

Responsibilities

• Translate briefs into concepts and digital prototypes.
• Build skills in digital product creation and 3D rendering platforms.
• Turn market research into design insights for product development.
• Assess designs for manufacturability and material performance.
• Lead design projects and present capstone to the business.
