Job summary

AECOM is inviting expressions of interest from graduates to join our Buildings & Places team as a Graduate Fire Safety Engineer. You’ll gain exposure to fire engineering projects across the project lifecycle and help develop practical, performance-based fire safety solutions.

Under experienced engineers’ guidance, you’ll conduct fire risk assessments, evacuation analyses, and smoke control modelling, while learning relevant codes, standards, and industry practices.

Qualifications

• Must have or be in final year of a relevant Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety Engineering.
• Coursework or specialization in fire safety is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fire engineering projects across the lifecycle from concept to completion.
• Conduct fire risk assessments, evacuation analyses and smoke control modelling.
• Develop understanding of fire engineering codes, standards, and regulations with guidance from senior engineers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate fire safety into building design and delivery.
